Successful Garden and Craft Show

Congratulations to all concerned with setting up and entering exhibits in the recent show held in the village hall on Saturday August 19th 2017. A fine show of flowers, fruit, vegetables, home cooking and crafts were on display. Wendy Baker emerged as the winner of the Gurney Perpetual Challenge Shield for most points overall and Jan Greenslade took the Ridd Perpetual Cup for the best domestic exhibit. Burst pipes in the village meant no mains water supply but the show went on and was considered one of the most successful.
