Platinum Jubilee Celebrations June 2022

Bickleigh will be celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee from Thursday 2nd- Sunday 5th June 2022. Everyone welcome to join in and help make it a happy and memorable community event,

From the end of May follow the 'Royal' scarecrow Trail around the village. 

Thursday June 2nd enjoy from 3pm a Cream Tea in Joan's Orchard (Village Hall if wet). Free event but a donation invited to the Ukraine Appeal Fund.        

Friday 3rd June take part in or watch a Fun Football Tournament on Happy Meadow. All ages and abilities welcome to take part.                            

From 5pm the Valley Escapes Bar will be open with outdoor games and bbq.              

Saturday June 4th from 2.30pm a Childrens' Tea Party in Joan's Orchard/ Village Hall.  Kite making/ if wet Chocolate Bingo. Tickets £2 per child. Unveiling of plaque on commemorative Jubilee Tree.

From 5pm a Community Barbecue in Joan's Orchard. Prepared and cooked by village chef Jim Janes. tickets £5/ 2.50.

Sunday June 5th   From 12 noon Bring and share lunch and croquet at Bickleigh castle.
