Bickleigh to Crediton Road Closures

Please be aware that the A3072 road between Bickleigh and Crediton will be closed from Monday 7th November to Friday 9th December 2022. There are two specific sections of the A3072 undergoing planned drainage works, and these are highlighted on the map below. 

• Section 1:  Road from Chilton Gate to Dart Bridge, Bickleigh. 

• Section 2:  Road from Coffintree Cross to Cheriton Cross, Stockleigh Pomeroy 

There will be a signed diversion route for road users to follow, the diversionary route is shown on the atached map in green. There will be signage advising of the road closure and diversion route at either end of the A3072 and at intermediate sections. 

Please note that the two sections of the road will be closed 24 hours a day during the drainage works. Emergency access will be maintained at all times. 

Following the completion of the drainage works, the contractor will be undertaking night-time resurfacing works on Section 1: Road from Chilton Gate to Dart Bridge, Bickleigh, between the hours of 19.00 to 07.00 and the road will be closed during this time. However, our contractor will make the road usable outside of their working hours.
