Mrs Rose Baily

Rose Baily, formerly of Copenhagen Bungalow, Bickleigh, has died aged 89 years. With husband Ron and their  daughters Rosalind, Linda and Beverley the family were well known farmers and were active in all village life. A few years ago Rose moved to live at The Meads in Silverton and latterly at an Exmouth care home. Rose was well known for her baking skills and particularly her bread making having worked for Mr and Mrs Boundy at Bickleigh's Bakery. She loved dancing and organised many a village dance and other fund raising events for the village hall and church.  

We send our condolences to her family. Daughter Beverley tells us that a Cremation Service will be held at the East Devon Crematorium, Whimple, on Monday May 15th at 10am. Bickleigh friends are most welcome to attend. The family will be arranging for her ashes to return to Bickleigh churchyard to join husband Ron.
