Irene Hersant

Irene Hersant of Bell Meadow, Bickleigh, has died just a few days after the death of husband John. She loved living in the village and was always willing to help out in any way she could. Her upholstery skills were put to good use when renovations in the Hall took place in the 1980's, new stage curtains were required and Irene made them. A huge task and they look good today. Private family cremations will be held in Swansea. A Service of Celebration for both John and Irene will be held in St Mary's Church, Bickleigh on Saturday February 3rd at 1 pm, followed by refreshments in the Village Hall.
