The Medieval Murder Mystery Night was a great success- a packed village hall, many in medieval costumes, a truly royal court setting with banquet tables, candelabra, feasting, drinking and entertainment by a visiting King "Arfur Crown" with family members and supporters including "Werlin" with all his magic powers. Identifying the murderer proved difficult because most of his people had cause and reason! This did not prove a problem for Steve and Mary Batt and Reg and Alison Richardson who identified the individual. The prize for the best costume in the Hall, chosen by the play's writer and producer was awarded by King Arfur to Matthew Peters, a Crusader Knight.
A big thank you to all who all who helped. A profit of £630 was raised for Hospiscare.
